Are you missing your regular parent and baby sessions in lockdown? Join the Manchester Museum every Tuesday morning for their free online parent and baby programme, Muso Baby, led by music therapist Rachel Swanick.
The sessions include live chat, supporting the emotional health of parents with young children from 10-11am followed by a live music session 11-11.30 am on Tuesday mornings. Parents just need to message via Facebook asking to join the closed group (https://www.facebook.com/Culturekidsmanchester/).
Session lead, Rachel, is also adding guided meditations for parents to use with young children at bedtime and craft activities. If parents can’t join the sessions live, the music sessions and other resources are posted on the Muso Baby Virtual! and on the Facebook pages as resources which families can access and enjoy at any time. The sessions are running at the moment until early September.
The museum has also set up a new mobile website and parents can access Muso Baby from here too, plus a range of other resources for families and to engage with the collections whilst the museum is closed.
