New grant for Rebecca Frost following LuCiD research visit to Cornell

Dr Rebecca Frost (PI) has been awarded a Language Learning Early Career Research Grant ($9998) for her project entitled “Practice shapes language processing", which she will work on with her collaborators Prof Morten Christiansen (Cornell University) and Dr Patrick Rebuschat (Lancaster, Linguistics).

This project is one of the outcomes of Rebecca's research visit to Cornell earlier this academic year, funded by the LuCiD Travel Award Scheme, and will involve testing speakers of different languages across multiple sites (Lancaster, UK, and Tübingen, Germany), to explore the way that linguistic experience shapes language processing.
