A bit about Stephanie Hargreaves
After finishing my Psychology BSc in 2014, I worked for a couple of years at The Christie Hospital as a Clinical Trials Coordinator, where I was responsible for setting up clinical trials at site. In September 2017, I completed my Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Manchester. My Master’s project looked at how young children come to understand and produce complex sentences with mental verbs, and how their production of these sentences is influenced by their developing understanding of false belief. Shortly after my Master’s, I joined the LuCiD team in Manchester as a Researcher.
My Role in LuCiD
I worked on two projects within LuCiD. The first is looked at how children process and use information structure in complex sentences for different communicative purposes; the second used a number of methods, including eye-tracking, to investigate the relationship between perceptual biases in infants and their later language development.
